H.R. 1599 is a bill the WE THE PEOPLE feel is NOT in our best interest. WE ask that this bill is STOPPED immediately. WE THE PEOPLE are calling on our public officials to stop H.R. 1599. This bill, H.R. 1599, states it is the right of the government to label GMOs if deemed necessary. This bill strips the three states that have labeling laws away. WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO KNOW! It cost no more to change the packaging to state that it contains genetically modified ingredients, but this bill states that biotech corporations don't have to label their toxic chemicals. This bill twists the interstate commerce act in the constitution, that was written to block monopolies not to protect corporations that produce GM "food" against the people. STOP H.R.1599 NOW. THE GOVERNMENT HAS TO BE FOR THE PEOPLE.
