Numerous statistical studies as well as suspicious activities (such as the decrease in a Republican lead when voting machines were rebooted and ran the tally again in Florida in 2000) suggest a long standing bias in voting machine software which increases the representation of Republican voters- this needs to be investigated and illuminated, and any companies which allowed this to continue fined or otherwise penalized.
