More than 40 days of clashes between protesters and security forces have overwhelmed the main hospital in India-held Kashmir, where some patients with severe injuries said they had been beaten in their homes by troops.A strict curfew and a series of communication blackouts have failed to stop six weeks of protests, even as residents have struggled to cope with shortages of food, medicine and other necessities.
