There have been multiple cases of people being beaten to death by cow vigilantes and religious fanatics in India, mainly the poorest of poors, that have been treated as untouchables for centuries in India in their own religion Hinduism. Professionally most of of them throughout history survived by skinning of dead animals. There is a spike in number of incidents of violence against them and the silence of Government of India is supporting these vigilantes who are wreaking havoc on these poorest of poor's who already have suffered since centuries at hands of higher caste Hindus. These cow vigilantes are referred to as "Gau Rakshak Dals" in India and they are supported by the existing ruling party BJP and its idelogue RSS. Request US congress to pressurize govt of India to act on this.
