The current situation in Nepal is deteriorating. Media reports of complete destruction of epicenter cities is accurate. Aid organizations currently inside Nepal (such as UNICEF) are overwhelmed and not able to reach the affected cities or provide basic resources. This situation is expected to continue to deteriorate within the next few days as resources are depleted.
This petition is drafted to state the current American response of 1 million USD should be increased substantially. Additionally, we call on the American people to directly send supplies to the affected region.
