The country of Syria is currently undergoing arguably one of the worst humanitarian crisis of all time. Conflict inspired by Arab Spring uprisings, began in 2011. Syrian's government responded heavily, consternating the country and ultimately causing an ongoing civil war. As result, human beings are suffering beyond comprehension due to the violence and sorrow of such a devastating war. Basic freedom and liberties of millions have been diminished, causing an unfathomable amount of casualties. From rising death tolls, to the Syrian Refugee Crisis, and clear violations of basic human rights; I respectfully call upon the United States to raise awareness of this crisis and to encourage the Assad regime and the rebels to strike a peace deal. Please help save many innocent civilian lives.
