There are millions of non violent justice involved people. These people have went to jail or prison for a short time. They pay and complete their sentence. Most people would think that's the end of it... Wrong even after 10 years a non violent felon still has to live with the collateral consequences of a conviction. In turn makes it difficult to obtain employment, food stamps,housing and professional licenses. A person cant even flip burgers because of a old felony.This is a lifelong sentence. The goal is to rehabilitate.. After 10 years such persons rights should be fully restored. America is about second chances. Just like you felons have families to support. The time is now lets get together and take a stand. Lets give non violent felons a real shot in life.
