Legalizing marijuana will not only benefit America, but truly save lives. Currently the United States' citizens are practically building the power of the drug cartel in Mexico, with the purchase of illegal drugs. Of all the drugs, marijuana is the most demanded in the U.S. So as citizens we need to stop supplying this gang of murderers with money, because overall how harmful is marijuana? From 1995-2005, there were 0 deaths attributed purely from marijuana, and 278 deaths from contribution of marijuana to other factors such as alcohol. Is 278 deaths in 10 years bad? Well 3,111 killings in Juarez (one city in Mexico) in 2010 alone seems worse. This is caused from the U.S. citizens, we practically give the drug cartel money and weapons.
