I am a US citizen who's I130 and I129f petitions for my wife has exceeded the normal processing time by over 5 months.

Created by K.O. on July 05, 2014

I am a citizen of the United States of America who has filed an I29f and I130 for my wife who I've been married to for 3 years now. I filed the I130 petition that was received on September 21 2013. The petition which the USCIS anticipated to have a normal processing time of 5 months has exceeded 10 months without any decision to date. I feel as though that the country from which my wife and I were from originally before I became a US citizen, which is Nigeria, is why my case has been intentionally delayed. As a US citizen I am afforded every right to have the woman I love join me in the US. I have filed several service requests and I am still being told to wait with no end date in sight. I have elicited the help of my local congressman and intend to enlist an Immigration attorney .
