I ask congressman Michael Burgess to sign state legislation for Texas to cut not raise the state sales tax.

Created by M.K. on January 27, 2013

I oppose a gas tax, electric car tax, and raising the state sales tax or any increase in taxation. Raising taxes should be a last resort. Spending less, limiting spending, balancing our budget, and lowering taxes plus regulations should alway be a first resort in creating a more economic friendly environment in Texas which are state already has and would like to keep it that way. The fiscal year ends at the end of September. For this year, next year, and the year after instead of raising the sales tax I support a better pro-growth economic policy to lower our state sales tax based on how much our state economy alone is growing each year eventually as low as a 1 to 2 percent sales tax rate. If our economy grows at 4 to 7 percent then lower it at that pecentage each and every year.
