I believe we need a section of government that regulates local law enforcement departments

We need a section of government to keep the local law enforcement in check.
Much like the AG office handles consumer complaints
we need a agency to go to when complaints against the local government, to include problems with the attorney general, arise.
The fox is guarding the hen house, so it seems
Example: I run a business and was in the process of making a delivery to a customer when he pulled a gun on me.
I was deprived of my constitutional rights.
Local law enforcement refused to let me press charges on him.
their is no one to keep them in check when they are on a witch hunt either.
We need to feel safe to run a business so we can help the economy survive.
