I can't rightly wrap my head around this idea but something about it just clicks.

The 40 hour work week. Who did it?

What this petition is if adding a fourth shift by cutting back the hours of Workers working 40 hours by two hours a day that would make the usual eight hours a day to six hours a day for them but should also make room in the 24 hour day for an brand new fourth shift to be added in the workforce of new Employees.

And by adding the new fourth shift of Workers to an place of Employment currently working only three shifts should not only keep group healthcare benefit costs lower for the all involved but easier too it would seem on the retirement benefits planning.

Of course not all places of Employment currently has three shifts per day or even two. But those that do must be doing something right.
