The tea party has pushed the republican party too far to the right. The progressive movement has pushed the democrats party too far to the left. I strongly do believe both parties have principles and policies of their own. Both parties should be an opposition party. The republican party can work much harder in being an opposition party of smaller limited constitutionally limited sound money government without caving into Washington Establishment politics. Both parties can sucessfully work together in reforming the establishment by focusing on up or down issues and right or wrong issues insteead of rightwing or left wing issues. Both parties can agree our country is in so much debt because government wastes and spends too much of our tax dollars. Printing and spending doesn't help!
