I petition congress to convert the current federal 12 billion dollar surplus and convert it to a rainy day fund!

Created by M.K. on July 12, 2013

For the first time since 9/11 Washington is finally running a 12 billion dollar surplus. Obama and the senate want to use that surplus to raise taxes and grow the government more. The federal government is already way too big and bloated. Washington doesn't need more of our hard earned money because it is The American Peoples money not Washington's money. Government needs to spend less than its taking in and take in less money by living within its means. The money belongs in the private sector economy. Everysingle penny that wasn't spent of our hard earned tax dollars should be paid back to The American People as a rainy day fund so we can keep more of our money in our economy by saving it or spending it in the private sector not Washington. A lower, flatter, and fairer tax too!
