A federal judge in Texas today ruled a bann on gay marriage unconstitutional. Just because it is unconstitutional on the federal level doesn't mean it isn't constitutional on the state level. In our state amendment in our state constitution it does quote, "Marriage should be the union of one man and one women only." Texas has always been about family values and traditions. A very religious socially conservative state where our religious freedom is under attack and our states rights based on the tenth amendment of the US constitution is under attack. The people of the states should vote on how they choose to governthemselves and each other when it comes to marriage especially people in a state who feel very strongly about their biblical faith and beliefs being under attack.
