Both political parties including congress, the president and senate refuse to work together in making very tough choices because they are too concerned about winning another election. The bottom line is we do not have until the next election or next several. Our country is in 17 trillion dollars of debt which is a problem congress must tackle right now or this problem will tackle The American People as a whole. More of our tax dollars are spent on corporate welefare, foriegn aid, and entitlements which doesn't include the money goverment prints, borrows and spends to fund these ver costly and unconstitutional government programs. They are unconstitution because it is not the role of government to take care of people from craddle to grave or get involved in charity.
