I petition lawers, lobbyists, regulators, and the FDA to stop punishing small children opening lemonade stands.

Created by M.K. on March 16, 2013

Back in the 80's and 90's when America had less lawers, lobbyists, regulators, and a much smaller less intrusive government a kid was allowed to open up a lemonade stand in their front yard. All the child had to do was set up a booth with a big jug of lemonade. Not anymore. Now with government being much bigger and intrusive thanks to the FDA overhaul, more lawers, lobbyists, and regulators kids have to read through 10 thousand pages of rules and regulations plus spend money on a government approved fire extinguisher or if caught by the police they get yelled out, shut down, and prosecuted. That is not right. These are little children saling lemonade to earn extra money for college. I also ask establishment politicians to stop regulating and taxing lemonade sale from teenage kids.
