I petition the Obama administration to put pressure on congress to overturn Governor Rick Perry's veto on equal pay act.

I am a freemarket conservative but I like Obama's Equal Pay Act. This is not a right, left, republican, democrat, independant, libertarian, conservative, liberal, or centerroad issue this is about doing what is right for our country and our economy for promoting economic policies that garantee more take home pay for all minority groups including women. Individual freedom is always a first resort for me as far as our freeenterprise system but it is not right that women get paid less then men do. All minority groups should be paid just as much. I ask The Obama Administration to put pressure on our state congress and senate in Texas to overturn Rick Perry's VETOE on The Equal Pay Act. This will garantee more take home pay for all minority groups plus simplying our tax code.
