The republican party is the pro-life party. The democratic party is the pro-choice party. However, both sides are on a dead heat if this amendment doesn't get written, voted on, and signed before next years election. This is not just about an election this is about both sides of the aisle working together on one issue by not listening to minority group but The American People. Despite of reiligious veiws on marriage and abortion this amendment would prohibit the federal, state, and local governments from getting involved in marriage and abortion. Abortion is a womens right especially for rape and incest victoms. This amendment is not only designed to protect womens issues, individual rights for all, but also everyones religious freedom. Social issues should be a religious choice.
