Legal Permanent Residents go through the same problems as american citizens, we loose jobs. the problem is we have more trouble getting a job because of profiling by companies. Personal questions about your race if you are latin or not, The important thing is Permanent residents do not want to be a burden to this country yet the govenment and other agencies make it dificult to get any help when we need it. Specially when you hit 50 years and older, its harder to get a job or keep a roof over your head when you still can be useful to this society, and not be put out to pasture. Harrasment at work, retaliation, intimidation, makes it stressfull as well to permanent residents whom are being treated like they are ilegals, we are not. We nee help.
