I propose a bill that would prevent each member of Congress and Senate from making more than the AVERAGE American worker

The purpose of the bill is to ensure that those who help run the country aren't profiting from their elected positions of power. Nobody within Congress or the Senate should make more than the average American. They should not be making budget cuts elsewhere, such as veteran benefits, if they have elected to give themselves a raise. It isn't right and it isn't just.
