I respectfully request the Unites States follow the EU ruling of personal data being removed from online search results

I respectfully request that the United States Government follow the European Union landmark decision to remove all personal data from searches and distribution over the Internet. This lack of policy for protection of US citizens personal information allows the continuation of rampant identity theft. Pubic information on citizens published over the Internet, whether accurate or not, can be potentially detrimental to a persons pursuit of life, liberty and happiness.
