In order to have a more functional government that can respond to disasters, technology changes, state aid, infrastructure repairs, daily functions, and other emergencies, this debt ceiling game needs to stop. It frustrates me to see the Republicans attempt to hold the budget hostage by taking it piece by piece.
If the goal is to deregulate, get them to make their case after the budget is fixed.
If the goal is to extend tax cuts, maybe the rich would like to help the government get more efficient without making it weak so they CAN keep "their money."
If the only true end goal is to make sure the health care is more efficient, get them to look at privatized health costs of the USA compared to other countries with a better life expectancy on average
