I was convicted of a felony ten years ago and I haven't been in trouble since, But I still can't find a job

Created by J.H. on August 21, 2014

I was convicted of a felony over 10 years ago. I've done my jail time for what I've done wrong. I came out of jail a different person, I believe it was my second chance on a good life. I've never been in trouble since then. My entire life revolves around my 3 children. I want to give them the best life but no one will hire me because I am a convicted felon. I am trying to expunge my background, but that cost money that I don't have. I just don't understand why people don't realize we are all human and make mistakes. I'm trying to be strong and hold my head up but after a couple years of this treatment you get discouraged.
