I would like to see an end to large corporations like AT&T despensing of their senior employees to avoid paying pensions

I would like to see some government intervention into the wide spread problem of large companies terminating their senior employees to avoid paying large pensions and 401ks. I personally had 20+ years invested into AT&T only to see the rug pulled out below my feet for obvious discrinatory reasons. They now hire employees at half the pay with no benefits under a new job title that the union I.B.E.W. LOCAL 21 allowed them to get away with. I am not the only person this has happened to at my particular location...it has happened to hundreds of people at my one location and I am sure it is more wide spread than that. They took me out of the payroll while out on sick leave. Three doctors support my case. DEPT OF HUMAN RIGHTS is investigating.
