The office of president is often seen to be distant from the American people. This Halloween, to help bridge that gap, I would like to ask Mr President to dress in costume for a public appearance, as Director Nick Fury from Marvel Comics. His Secret Service detail could carry Agents of SHIELD badges, as well. I think that we desperately need the occasional light-hearted and fun to be shown from the highest office, especially right now, with so many serious things that need to be addressed, and I think the President is just like the rest of us, sometimes needing a break from his day to day reality. I think it would do much to reconnect him with the people for him to participate in this traditionally family holiday.
