Poker is a zero sum game where skill is required to win, not luck. No player has a disadvantage over another, neglecting skill. Providers of the game charge a small fee that can potentially create thousands of jobs and increase revenue.
It is my right, as a citizen of the USA, to spend income that I earned on the hobbies of my choice. It is also a businesses right to engage in providing a service, where profit does not come from a participant's disadvantage, which overwhelming used by responsible and ultimately FREE Americans.
