I would like you to review using the Bureau of Prison's staff in updating the safety and security of our schools. No one in this country has the training and experience then front line Correctional Supervisors (Lieutenant). Older Lieutenants have been drawing up emergency plans, evacuations, and front line security for 100 years. The track record of the older Lieutenants speak for themselves. Have the knowledge and experience to do a walk thru and examine the physical buildings and grounds would allow them to draft, write, such plans, Tey would know how to complete such in a highly effective manner. Local law enforcement specialize enforcing laws enc. Lieutenants know how to evacuate , secure one or a group of dangerous people. Lts specialize in security, both armed and unarmed.
