The IDEAL marijuana policy

Created by N.D. on November 09, 2011

Throwing the marijuana industry from highly illegal to legal overnight would cause chaos and gigantic corporate profits because the companies with high capital ($) would be able to purchase massive amounts of land to grow it, thus allowing them to regulate the prices.

The IDEAL policy cuts out the black market and crime. It encourages U.S. citizens to act responsibly with marijuana and keeps cannabis consumption away from public areas where children or others who wish to stay away from marijuana might have a problem.

IDEAL policy:

1)Allow citizens to cultivate 3 marijuana plants per person within their private property
2)Decriminalize it. If you are found consuming in public, you will be charged a reasonable fine.
3)DRAMATICALLY increase the penalty for selling on the black market
