During a meeting on July 10 with Spain’s prime minister, President Obama stated that Black Lives Matter protesters have raised legitimate issues about police bias and systemic racism, and that there’s “data and evidence” to back up the concerns expressed by the protesters. We ask the Administration to identify: (1) the data and evidence referenced by President Obama and (2) any data or evidence known by the president that tends to refute the protesters’ concerns.
