If contraception isn't covered, viagra shouldn't be either

Created by S.F. on March 26, 2014

It appears that companies will be able to opt out of providing contraceptive coverage through religious exemptions. I think that the hypocrisy should end and if a company cites religion to not provide contraceptives then should should also not cover erectile dysfunction medication. What I would like this petition to do is to require companies to act in a fair manner showing their commitment to the religious principals they claim to have by treating their employees with equality.

While I'm not sure where it would fit into this, allowing companies not to cover health care for legitimate medical conditions, like PMDD, which are treated with contraceptives on label, flies in the face of the spirit of the affordable care act and what should be the principals of any religious organization.
