President Obama, I understand that you will not guarantee Social Security payments if the "Fiscal cliff" is not resolved by the deadline. I propose an alternative. If Congress fails to do its job by the deadline all pay to Legislative branch and Executive branch employees should be withheld until such a time that Congress is able to work out a sustainable budget without deficit.
