We request President Obama to travel to Tehran if the nuclear deal is reached and to meet with President Rouhani in person. While we recognize that Congress will have a say in our foreign policy, we request the President to make an historic visit to Tehran to show the world that our U.S. foreign policy can be balanced and one which works with moderate regimes in the Middle East. If Richard Nixon could visit China in 1972, why can't our President visit Tehran in 2015. We want progress and peace.
