If people feel compelled to keep their firearms under the second amendment, outlaw the bullets needed to operate them.

I petition the US Government to outlaw the bullets required to operate assault rifles. Since many want to keep their fire arms, which is protected under the second amendment of the U S Constitution, outlaw the manufacture and sale of the ammo to the civilian population. Anyone in possession of this type of ammo, should be fined and/or prosecuted.
