President Obama and others in the Democratic party persist in describing semi-autos as weapons of war, despite the fact that military forces utilize full-auto firearms.

If the President is sincere about wanting to remove these weapons from society, he ought to lead by example and restrict the Secret Service to the revolvers and bolt action rifles he wishes Americans to be restricted to.
