To many disabled veterans that have been designated 100% permanently disabled who have worked before and after military service and are eligible for SSI have to start over proving they are disabled to Social Security. If Veterans Affairs has found a veteran 100% permanent disabled the veteran should not have to prove he/she is disabled again. Rather Social Security should determine if the Veteran has paid into Social Security and is entitled to receive benefits. This is to much red tape as a veteran has probably already waited years to get benefits from VA just to start over with SSI. This should be a streamline process and not one of hurdle after hurdle Veterans have to jump through to get all there benefits.
