Before one cut in Entitlements is made on Social Security or Medicaid, Congressional Entitlements should be addressed first. Congressional Wisdom over the last few decades has created this whole mess but they pay no price or suffer no consequences and even continue to get Cost of Living Adjustments and raises when almost nobody in the real world gets COLA's.
I expect Congress to take leadership on this and act with integrity, accepting responsibility and offering significant cuts in their own pay and benefits packages. We must demand accountability and look to Congress to Lead By Example in any potential Grand Deal that may be made.
