If you receive ANY kind of welfare make them work for it. Plenty of streets need cleaned or volunteer work available

If they can stand in a line and receive a monthly check then they can stand on the side of the road and pick up trash to EARN that help. People on food stamps eat better than those that work. If they aren't willing to put in a percentage of time for the freebie then they get zero. Require them to be tested for drugs and that everyone in that house that is a "dependent" for that welfare must also help for the check. Children under the age of 10 shouldn't but if you don't show these kids at a young age that they have to work for what they want then it will just start trickling down and the cycle will never break. Get local volunteers to hold the office down to check the hours of people monthly ....I see way too many people driving nice vehicles and holding iphones using food stamps.
