It's been close to 14 years since Columbine and we have had countless more mass shootings, many at schools, some elsewhere... and yet, we have not done anything about it. It's wrong that we didn't immediately alter things after Columbine....It's horrendous that 20 children and six adults had to be killed at an elementary school for the nation to finally have a serious discussion on firearms. Please do not let this be just another mass shooting in America that we reflect on a year or two from now when another one happens because we, as a nation, did not do anything about it.
So ignore all the irrational ramblings of those who want absolutely no gun control, who threaten violence themselves if more regulations are made, thus disproving their own stance.
