Ignore any petition for the Secession of North Carolina

A petition to ignore the secession petition for North Carolina, and remain firmly a part of the United States of America
I am petitioning to not secede. The great American experiment is unique in that it allows for juxtaposed views to coexist. I see Patriotism as seeing far beyond a party, an election, and seeing that we live in a place where these juxtaposed ideas can be considered, and discussed. and see the country as the collective melting pot of many diverse ideas, and cultures. The laws we have are living, and allowed to grow and change. Elections reflect a collective opinion, and civil rights of the individual are, and should be, protected. My petition is to remain American where my voice can be heard, and those calling for secession, are ignored. I hope other states do too
