It is time to get our heads out of the gutters and realize that stricter gun laws are the only answer to solving our countries violence problem. In 2008 there were only 11 deaths in Japan, a nation with much stricter gun laws, and there were 12,000 within the United States. A man in China went into a school and only injured 23 students with a knife, a man in America left no injured behind at Sandy Hook, but left all his targets dead. There will always be violent people in the world, but making it significantly more difficult for them to obtain firearms will make it significantly more difficult for them to leave paths of blood behind them.
