When our Founding Fathers signed the Declaration of Independence into law in 1776, they were dealing with a tyrant and abusive government. This government took advantage of them, over taxed them, and were not in touch with the issues they had because of the distance. In 2012, we do NOT have such a tyrant government. Our country does have problems, and this is for sure. But the way to solve them is not to secede from the union. The correct way to solve these issues is to work together to find solutions that everyone can agree on.
