Mr. President,
We humbly ask that
1) You bring our troops home from Afghanistan. The rise in 2012 green-on-blue attacks show that we are not making progress. A civil war may be likely after we leave anyway, let's not shed more American blood through occupation.
2) You address civil liberties by reversing the NDAA, end the drug war, and lower the prison population. We lock up more of our own citizens than any other developed nation.
3) You enact more robust financial reform, including a new Glass-Steagall act and derivative regulation.
4) You work toward getting the money out of politics by reversing Citizens United and enacting real campaign finance reform.
