We, the Patriotic People of the State of Louisiana, hereby request that you consider our plea, that you not allow our state to secede from the Union of the United States of America.
We understand that every four years our country engages in a vote to determine the President of our United States. We understand that the will of the People was lawfully determined in a fair and free election on November 6, 2012. We understand that President Barack Obama was elected to lead us for another four years, the final four years of his term.
We understand that we may be disappointed by federal, state or local election results but that those results are a demonstration of the will of our people.
Please do not see a petition to secede as the will of all of the people of Louisiana.
