The People of the Great State of Colorado and their Friends from the other 49 States of the United States of America hereby request that the petition for secession from the Union be ignored by the White House and the President.
The VAST majority of Colorado citizens are happy as members of the Union and do not wish to be separated from the ties and bonds of current Statehood.
Furthermore, it should be noted that a Large Percentage of the signatures on Colorado's petition to secede do NOT come from citizens of Colorado and therefore should NOT be included in the formal count of 25,000 signatures needed to require a formal response from the White House.
