My friends, family, and I are very concerned about the recent motorist checkpoint in Reading where the local police coerced people into participating in a survey conducted on behalf of the federal government by a private company. This situation exemplifies government and police overreach and outright Constitutional violation of citizens' rights. The blase and dismissive attitude of the Reading police chief merely serves to underscore the systemic nature of the problem. I implore you and your colleagues to address the movement of our local, state, and federal governments towards straight-up tyranny.
