Telemarketers are using automated calling to call random phone numbers to reach people. If nobody answers the machine keeps calling next number, if someone does answer there is a pause or wait before someone answers and starts asking you for either to purchase a product or donate money.
Telemarketers also use automated bot calling which will call random phone numbers to reach people and to play a set message with or without options to press a number to talk to somebody.
This petition is designed to
1. Discourage companies from spamming more people, since you are required to have a person to dial a number and connect to the person hence they can only reach one person at a time.
2. Reduce spam calls to households.
3. To stop use of automated machines to disturb piece.
