As American's are looking for work many of us feel hopeless, then we get that call "Mr. Smith, I would like to give you an interview." It seems like you found a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, then you're hit with it, "Mr. Smith, before we hire you, we have to look at your credit report." I see NO REASON what credit has to do with your job performance unless you're in a bank or financial institution, or a position where bribery can get you. Credit checks are nothing more than a form of financial discrimination and should be outlawed for the most part. People have bad credit because of numerous reasons, but then can't find jobs because of bad credit. Let's stop this stupidity together and build a better nation.
