From Oct 1 2013 to Oct 17 2013, the members of Congress demonstrated beyond a shadow of a doubt that they no serve the public interest in any shape or form. The most powerful nation in world shut down because the elected officials can not agree.
Elected officials that are suppose to speak for the people and do to what is best for country. People have placed their faith in these elected officials to get the job done and are not seeing any return on that faith from the Congress nor president. Some would say that the Democrats are to blame and others would say the Republicans. They both are to blame and both need to be removed. This measure is triage at the most but it is start in cleaning up that mess called the US government.
