Why are we paying police to brutally and violently beat up young people who are peacefully protesting their unhappiness with life?
We have video proof of completely unwarranted, excessive violence by the police in various cities across the nation, NYC, Indiana, Oakland and in the case of Berkeley especially, brutally violent, savage stabbing by police of peaceful unarmed young people protesting their tuition hikes.
Congress is in session, debating the stupidest things imaginable while the country is falling apart. They have clearly demonstrated they are incapable of doing anything effective, but hey let's give them a chance to at least show they care—or not—about beating up young people for being unhappy.
